Diaper Bags

I never realized how much stuff you “need” for a diaper bag.  It’s like your preparing for the end of the world! Nail clippers, 30+ pairs of diapers, five extra pairs of clothes, wipes, burp cloths, blankets, hat, first aid kit, (and so much more!)  My mom saw a list I created for what to put in my diaper bag and she was blown away.  She said, “You don’t need all that stuff.  Just take what you can carry in your arms and then put it in your diaper bag.”  I thought about it for a while and decided to give it a try.  Now, after five months with my new little girl, I only bring a couple diapers, wipes, a bottle, two burp cloth (just in case for spit up)  and two pairs of clothes.  It makes life so much easier.

I received two diaper bags at my baby shower and I have found that leaving one in the car at all times really comes in handy if you forget to refill the other diaper bag or forget the diaper bag completely as your running out the door in a hurry.  Just make sure you refill the safety bag!
